Back-to-School Camp
July 28 to Aug. 1
Students will have hands-on fun while learning. Featuring small group instruction with a 4, or 5, to 1 student-teacher ratio, this camp will help close the summer gap and sets students up for a successful school year.
About Our Camp
Hands On Activities
Campers will rotate between areas where they will do art projects, learn about, and use, simple machines, and play math games to help them prepare for the upcoming school year.
Experienced Instructors
Our instructors are all experienced with the gray hair to prove it. Each area will also have high school student helpers.
Facilities
Located at the First Christian Church of Atlanta, 4532 Lavista Rd, Tucker, Back-to-School camp will be held in classrooms and outside in a large pavilion. There are lots of breaks for free play during each day.
Daily Schedule
Camp is from 9:00 until 4:00
Camp Blocks
Simple Machines
A retired engineer will teach campers to use hand tools while explaining mechanical advantage. Campers will put things together and take them apart.
Art
Campers will do a daily math art project as well as work on a collaborative whole camp project.
Math Review with Games
Campers will play games to help review grade level math. We will also have Math Chats and look at real life examples of math.

After you register, you will get a request for payment sent to the adult's email address.
Campers should bring snacks, lunch, and their imaginations.
